While in the San Francisco Bay Area, Virginia loved representing a range of business in various industries and in various stages, from entrepreneurs and start-ups to fortune 100 companies.  However, in 2011, she and her husband moved to the small town of Grass Valley, California seeking more time to enjoy the scenic outdoors, the beautiful communities of Grass Valley and Nevada City, and each other.

Her relocation to Minnesota in 2022 allows her family to be close to extended family and friends. Virginia loves to read and considers herself a “life-long learner/student.”  Virginia’s passion for learning started earlier than most.  She grew up in Sacramento, California and at the age of 18 received her B.S. in Mathematics with honors from the University of California, Davis.  She went on to law school and received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) at the age of 20, making her the youngest graduate of Boalt Hall and the youngest lawyer in California from 1998 to 2007 and seemingly the nation.

Virginia proudly served on the Board of Directors of Community Legal in Nevada City and The Nest Family Resource Center, as well as having served on the Board of Directors of United Way of Nevada County.  Virginia has taught Business Law at Sacramento City College and has served as a Pro Tem
Judge for the Small Claims Division of the Sacramento County Superior Court.

When Virginia isn’t working with her clients, she spends time with her family, runs, gardens, bakes, and reads.
