A fine Detroit tradition now located in Shelby Township, The Kubisch Sausage Company in Detroit has been making fine gourmet meat products since 1936. It's the proud home of the Long John Snacks. The company's new headquarters combines a state-of-the-art facility with old world methods that date back to the original European recipes.

Scores of loyal customers reminisce of old times of when their parents or grandparents use to bring them to Kubisch as a child. The business is brimming with Detroit history.

Today, Kubisch Sausage Company operates a modern federally approved production facility inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Services (USDA-FSIS).

Kubisch Sausage Company has more than 80 different meat snacks available from salami sticks to Long John Smokies and Pickled sausages as well as our brand new line of Beef Jerky. They also carry an assortment of gourmet-smoked meats such as pork strip, bacon, beef strip, and more. In addition, they have a full line of European dry salami appetizers. The outlet store carries plenty of specialty European grocery and cheese items. One of the more popular items and great for grilling, Chevapi, is sure to be a hit at your next bar-b-que.
