Cottage Inn Gourmet Pizza was first opened in Ann Arbor on E. William in 1948. It was known as the first pizza serving restaurant in Ann Arbor. This E. William location still remains today and is said to be the company's flagship store. in 1975, the restaurant expanded. In the years 1980, 1987 and 1993 remodeling was done to increase the capacity, add a second floor and a banquet room.

After much expansion, the restaurant could not meet the demands of the growth and was difficult to keep up with any carry-outs or deliveries. It was obvious we needed a second location. Instead of just building another location, our delivery business was established.

We now operate in over 40 different Cottage Inn franchises throughout both Michigan and Ohio. Our menu has much diversity for both carry-out and delivery and some of our locations has inside seating with all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. Our variety of a menu includes both Greek and Italian dishes along with our famous Cottage Inn Pizza.
