The Grout Medic franchise was founded in 1996 and the West/Southwest territory was the first territory. Since then, the Grout Medic franchise has grown to over 50 territories nationwide, but it all started here.
Since our founding, we’ve continued to focus on cleaning and repairing tile, natural stone, grout and caulk…we haven’t wavered or chased the hot opportunity. It’s the expertise that we’ve developed over the past 20+ years that we will bring to your home should you choose to use The Grout Medic.

Business Owner, Ron Bandyk

Ron grew up in Chicagoland and makes his home in the western suburbs. Ron brings over 30 years of business and client service experience to The Grout Medic. It’s that depth of experience that provides the basis for how he manages The Grout Medic. “Our goal is to provide a quality service at a fair price to our customers. We will do everything in our power to make sure your job is done right and you are completely satisfied with the end result”.
Ron has a strong team with many years of experience supporting him as The Grout Medic strives to exceed its customer’s expectations.

We are a member of the National Tile Contractors Association.  This gives us access to information on the latest products and techniques in the industry. 

We have received the Angie’s List Super Service Award each of the last five years (2013-2017) which coincides with the years when we’ve been active on that site full time.  Each year, Angie's List awards this honor to companies that have given outstanding service according to their members for the previous year. The criteria for the award included receiving a minimum number of reviews from members, maintaining an A average on both the reviews for the current year as well as on their overall reviews and not being in poor standing with the Better Business Bureau.  Less than 5% of the companies on Angie's List received the award and many of our competitors did not receive this honor.  

We have been recognized as a “Top Rated” and “Elite” provider by Home Advisor, the nation’s largest online home improvement marketplace.  These ratings are based on feedback from customers who have found us through the Home Advisor site.  Again, many of our competitors have not received this honor.

We have been Accredited and have an A+ rating with The Better Business Bureau.  To be Accredited, we submit to a vetting process to determine that we meet the BBB accreditation standards and we commit to make a good-faith effort to resolve any customer complaints.  While our competitors may have a favorable rating, they are not accredited and have not been subject to the same vetting process nor have they made the same commitment to address any complaints should they arise.
