Acapulco Restaurante Mexicano is a family owned and operated restaurant. Each location is operated by the Leon family, with each member fulfilling a different role in the company.

Jesus and Maria Leon were born in Jalisco, Mexico. They relocated the family to Minnesota, where they raised their nine children. Those of the Leon family that are old enough, are actively involved in all aspects of the restaurants. From architecture and construction, to equipment repair and maintenance, to electrical engineering, cooking, catering, menu planning, bar tending and of course the day to day running of the restaurants, we do it all.

From oldest to youngest, here we are, all nine of us:
