The first Peppino's Pizzeria was opened in Standale in 1976 by Carlo DiLeonardo. The second location was opened in 1980 in Allendale focused on serving the Grand Valley State University student population. After much expansion, there are currently nine different Peppino's locations in all of West Michigan. Some of these locations are operated by family and relatives while others are franchised. Carlo's son, Joe DiLeonardo, now owns the franchise part of Peppino's. Between Joe, his wife, and Joe's three sisters and brother, Peppino's is continuing to provide great pizzeria services across Western Michigan.
