In pursuit of excellence in education, the mission of Parkway Christian School is to function as an extension of the Christ‐centered, Bible‐believing home and church by partnering with parents in providing an education, which promotes the development of the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and artistically.
The Vision of Parkway Christian School is to develop a Christian School that challenges students to reach their highest potential academically, presents the gospel in a way that promotes a biblical worldview, and identifies and develops individual gifts and talents.
Parkway Christian School’s roots were formed in the early 80s through the ministries of Bethesda Christian School and Zoe Christian Academy, two schools that joined together in 2006 to maximize their strengths and increase the opportunities for their students. Building on this foundation, our vision is to develop a Christian school that challenges students to reach their highest potential academically, presents the gospel in a way that promotes a biblical worldview, and identifies and develops individual gifts and talents. Put simply, we desire to Challenge Minds, Capture Hearts, and Cultivate Gifts.
Parkway serves Christian families with children in preschool through the 12th grade. More than 85 churches in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties are represented in the student body.
Our school population is diverse ethnically, racially, economically, and geographically, but it is in agreement on the importance of educating young people for the cause of Christ.
