Katie Van Diggelen, Owner and Certified Pedorthist, has been in the shoe business for decades. Before to owning her own New Balance Only Store, Katie used to constrct New Balance Shoe exhibits around the country. After falling in love with the company and the product, she has been an owner for over six years. Katie’s primary focal point for the past six years has been exceptional service.

In 2009 Brett Van Diggelen, Katie’s daughter, became store manager. Brett has been a part time member of the New Balance Crystal Lake staff since 2002, becoming extremely knowledgeable on the product and the brand. Along with running the store, Brett managed to become a certified pedorthist in 2010 making her the second pedorthis on staff. 

There is rarely a day where you will find either of these two out of the store. Brett and Katie work as a team to create the ultimate experience for every customer that walks into their store, through exceptional service!
